From Frank Giangiobbee:  Starting Thursday January 7, 2010 and ending on March 25, 2010, the Wednesday night carvers will meet from 12 noon to 4:00 PM Thursdays instead of Wednesday nights.  For information call Frank at 544-9767.  All are welcome!

A small group of members of the Genesee Valley Woodcarvers began meeting in 1995 at the Lutheran Church of the Transfiguration, 3760 Culver Road in Irondequoit.   Anywhere from four to twelve of us meet almost every Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:30 PM, year-round.

We carve individual ongoing projects, all informal, and from time to time one of us will lead a class.  We share patterns, photos, and information; swap stories and jokes; and tell lies!

Smoking or drinking is prohibited but we break for cocoa or coffee and sometimes cookies.  The church requests a free-will offering but there is no other charge.

Anyone who is interested, please drop in.
